I’m wondering what both men weighed as the fight started. Back the fighters would gain 10-15 pounds after the weigh in. Cotto looked like a super- welterweight vs a super lightweight.

I admire the craftsmanship from MIGUEL Cotto ...he has been an amazing athlete that displayed a positive respect for boxing just pure technique and heart ..not just throwing wild shots that land in the back of the head or using cheap tactics to win a fight..a true Champion and a boxing Olympian.🥊🥊🇵🇷

Looks like Tommy got agitated when the crowd started booing. Aside from getting some work in, I think he was letting Tim stick around so the crowd could have something to watch. I was really amazed with Tim's performance considering the situation.

This fight NEVER gets old. He gave the fans their money worth, when the real contender left... because he was doing PEDS. Doughnut Boy had a TITLE FIGHT. Drunk and out of shape. Full on doughnuts...in some gear they gave you that doesn't fit well.. lasting through 4 rounds with the heavyweight champion. Peak Tommy Morrison, no less, though he looked off. Thats a dream there by itself. A good story and memory. No one would believe him if it weren't recorded. The soft headlocks and tapping his head complaining about rabbit hole punches in clinch...and tappingTommy's in headlock... PRICELESS GOLD 😂😂😂😂 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣

I would normally cheer for Tommy Morisson. But for this fight, Timmy Tomashek is the man ! Nobody dare call Timmy a clown because he didn't even turn up for this fight leave alone being ready for it ! One more thing I adored about Timmy, is in the ring he knew how vicious Tommy was and fought accordingly but after the fight he still says 'Tommy is a good man !' and was happy to face him !

Frazier, lost to once..Foremman,Shavers,Lyle,Norton, Chavalo, Liston,Paterson who was a Cus Damato disciple, Cleveland Williams,an old Archie Moore ,lost too when he was old Larry Holmes. Big guys he dealt with well.....small guys gave him problems.....but he fought them all

I can see it’s been a while since anyone has commented on this fight. People this fight is as philosophical as it gets. True boxing fans will understand ,what legendary boxing men were present in this video. Eddie Futch ,Alexis trainer. Teddy Atlas , Rooney trainer both now are known as legendary trainers. And the man who gets kod is going to be remembered as the man who was pivotal in a prime Mike Tyson. Alexis triumphed in boxing sadly we will never know what demons outside the ring got to him may he rip. When you are on your arse like Rooney god still has a plan for you you get up and are remembered not from being on ur arse but getting up and being part of a greater story that the world will never forget. Get your ass up and if you believe you will receive

Watching this knowing how Kevin is suffering in later life..brings a real different feel to this. Just sad. Arguello seems like just a good bloke as well as a serious fighter (but we knew that already) just gonna leave this comment here if anyone has an update on how Kevin is now feel free to put underneath,dementia/Alzheimer's just awful afflictions.

While I have respect for Cuss D'mato, I have to say that he is WRONG. Joe Lewis would never have caught up to Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali by landslide decision.

Tommy would be a dangerous opponent for any heavyweight who ever lived. That body shot would have ended anyone regardless of chin. When he was young, before the cracks in his chin and years of abuse, he was deadly as they came.

If Tommy would have had world class coaching - someone like Cus - to teach him elite head movement, he could have become an all-time great. He had everything else (well, except for an insatiable sexual appetite that compromised his cardio his entire career).

Imagine a man possessing so many strong qualities all at once, A man who was an iconic historic and record-breaking sports figure, strong moral principles, physically gorgeous and stunningly handsome, warmhearted towards the common man and the down-trotten, humanitarian at a global scale, ability to be serious with a tremendous depth, using words with a lot of weight accordingly and can maneuver difficult conversations well, when in company with others he was known for always being light in spirit // joyous and humorous. He was superbly intelligent verbally, funny and witty on the spot. He was offered to teach poetry at Harvard even though he left high-school being considered illiterate. He was abundantly creative poetically, and brought verbal artistry to a field where-in it had never been imagined to be used. He ignited passion and new life to the sport of boxing and he invented new techniques and styles to boxing too. He was a humble man despite being one of the wealthiest and most famous on planet. He was a spiritual leader and voice of faith. He always saw eye to eye with anyone he met no matter their status. He was generous with his time and money. He was a sensitive man, it’s obvious to see how deeply he cared for the well being of anyone suffering. He pro-actively used his hard earned success to give back to those who needed it the most. He bravely spoke up for his beliefs at a time and place were you could get killed for doing so, especially risky for a man in the spotlight. HIS CONFIDNECE, TRUST AND BELIEF IN HIMSELF !!!!! What a breath of fresh air ~~ … Just to hear someone so comfortable speaking that positively and encouragingly about himself? Who else could pull that off without coming across as annoying? When he does it, we only look at him fondly, because he does it in such a charming manner- a skill / ability hard to teach or study. So many have low self worth today, seeing no light whatsoever within themselves… if only we had 10 more of him. I’m sure anybody can agree, we all feel wonderfully uplifted when we observe how he carries himself with such pride, respect and warmth. ALI ❤ A man of action, a man of his word. A man with a strong, warm heart. A man fiercely bold and brave - a man full of love and sincerity. What a fascinating man to observe. Brilliant we can look back at media like this, immortalizing him in a way that would not have been possible had he existed 200 years ago. Ali is the best man for admiration in my eyes, what a life he lead.
